TIEC Launches Start IT Incubation Program 34th Round

16 April 2024

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has launched the 34th round of Start IT Incubation Program. Organized quarterly, the program targets entrepreneurs with business plans and prototypes to establish successful startups.

The program offers financial support and in-kind services in the form of consultancy services, software and hardware tools, and marketing support. Incubation also provides a working space with basic furniture and internet access, as well as access to technical, subject-matter advisory, business consulting, and mentoring. In addition, winners will receive incubation at one of TIEC incubators for one year.

Submitted projects will be evaluated based on several criteria, including the uniqueness of the proposed service or product and its commercialization potential; clearly defined target markets, preferably large markets with high growth potential; a well-defined competitors' analysis; the competitive advantage of the service or product; the skills and expertise of the management team; and the prototype maturity.

Established in 2010, TIEC Center aims to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in the local ICT industry through building the capacity of enterprises and individuals, providing innovation assessment and certification services, and participating in national innovation initiatives.
