ITIDA Launches Summer Training Program in Collaboration with NTI to Train 10,000 University Students

2 June 2026

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen Egypt's digital talent pipeline and develop a future-ready workforce, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), in collaboration with the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), has launched registration for its free Summer Training Program for Egyptian university students. The program aims to equip 10,000 students with future-focused technology skills and practical experience aligned with the evolving demands of local and global labor markets.

The program is part of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology's (MCIT) broader strategy to invest in digital capacity building and prepare young talent for emerging career opportunities through industry-relevant training that combines technical knowledge with hands-on learning.

The program targets first-, second-, and third-year students enrolled in faculties of Engineering, Computer and Information Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics and Communications Engineering, as well as students majoring in Business Information Systems (BIS) and Business Informatics. Students from Media, Arts, and Specific Education faculties are also eligible to apply.

Participants can choose from a range of high-demand technology tracks, including Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, Data Science, Cloud Computing, System Administration, Electronics, Digital Arts, and Digital Marketing.

The training program comprises 120 hours, including 90 hours of specialized technical training and 30 hours dedicated to professional and freelancing skills development, enabling participants to explore diverse career pathways in employment, entrepreneurship, and freelance work.

Designed around a flexible learning model, the program enables students to progressively build and expand their expertise throughout their academic journey. Participants can either deepen their knowledge within a specific technology domain through advanced learning levels or broaden their capabilities by pursuing multiple training tracks, helping them adapt to the rapidly evolving demands of the digital economy.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate accredited by both ITIDA and NTI. The program also provides opportunities to prepare for international certifications and engage in hands-on projects that simulate real-world work environments.

To ensure accessibility for students across Egypt, the program is offered through both online and in-person formats at NTI premises and Digital Egypt Innovation Hubs (Creativa) located across governorates.

ITIDA invites university students to register and take advantage of this opportunity to develop future-focused skills and gain practical experience that can support their academic and professional growth.
