About SECC Tech Nights

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming SECC Tech Nights series, where we will delve into the exciting world of generative AI and explore the latest technology trends. Our sessions will provide both a practical perspective and a theoretical background for how to boost your business in digital transformation, software engineering, and process improvement, giving you the knowledge and skills you need to stay ahead of the curve.

About SECC Tech Night "Next-Gen Digital Twins: Integrating Gen-AI, Internet of Everything, and Physics-Informed Models for Smart Infrastructure "

Digital Twin technology is rapidly evolving, moving beyond traditional simulation models to self-generating, intelligent, and interconnected systems. This session will explore how the convergence of Generative AI (Gen-AI), the Internet of Everything (IoE), and Physics-Informed Machine Learning is shaping the future of smart infrastructure and digital transformation.

Key discussion points include:
How Gen-AI enhances Digital Twins by automating real-time data analysis and predictive insights.
Leveraging IoE for interconnected Digital Twins that integrate human, machine, and environmental data.
Physics-Informed Models for accurate simulations, reducing uncertainties in infrastructure monitoring.
Real-world applications in construction, energy, transportation, and urban planning.
The future of Digital Twins in Egypt's digital economy and how businesses can adopt these technologies.

The session will conclude with an interactive discussion on practical applications and industry adoption strategies.

Speaker Info

Dr. Shady Adib, PhD in Civil Engineering - Newcastle University - UK

Dr. Shady Adib recently completed his PhD in Civil Engineering at Newcastle University, developing a hybrid Digital Twin model for real-time damage detection in infrastructure. By integrating physics-based and data-driven methods with IoT, his work advances structural health monitoring through synchronizing physical and virtual models to identify abnormal behavior and address model uncertainties.

Dr. Adib currently explores generative AI and physics-informed machine learning models to improve structural health monitoring accuracy through self-generating and hierarchical digital twins.
