Overview

Egypt FWD, an 18-month scholarship program, offers learners both integrated learning and upskilling experience. The program provides access to Udacity online learning classroom, hands-on practice, expert-review projects, online support webinars, professional industry mentors, interactive peer-to-peer community, continuous coaching, and job opportunities.

FWD scholarship unlocks learners’ potential by improving tech and career development skills to compete successfully for digital work opportunities and freelancing gigs offered by leading online tech companies worldwide and marketplaces.

FWD program delivers:

Technical Training - Egypt FWD has tech-based courses in the most demanded fields: web, data, business, and cloud customized for all career levels.

Career Enablement - Preparing students for the job market through full Digital Freelancing training, Agile Management training and Career consultation.

Job Opportunities - Students will have access to many opportunities, besides training, whether of freelancing or employment in technical fields.

Objective

Under the umbrella of Digital Egypt Strategy, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) launches Future Work is Digital, second round. The initiative is powered by Information Technology Industry Development Agency “ITIDA” to equip and train 250,000 young Egyptians through Udacity, the online learning platform for digital technologies and skills. It aims to qualify the learners to join the digital workforce and create job opportunities in the local market.

Egyptian young people of students, grads and professionals

Age from 18 and above

Tracks from 2 (professional level) and above have their own technical qualification
