Learn to Go Offshoring Program
Overview
"Learn to Go Offshoring" program is an initiative suggested by ITIDA's five-year outsourcing strategy. The Agency aims at attracting more investments to the market. ITIDA seeks to upskill the talent pool in Egypt to (1) meet the needs of outsourcing companies, and (2) provide them with qualified personnel.
The program, a part of ITIDA’s Human Capacity Development Programs, HCDP, was launched in 2021. Fourth-year university students and fresh graduates can get the training to boost their language skills. HCDP is focusing on bridging the gap between supply and demand for qualified manpower in the local outsourcing sector.
At its outset, the program plans to provide training to 10,000 students, grads and job hunters within one year in (1) the languages of English, French and German, as well as (2) soft skills. The program’s mission is take trainees to the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages , CEFR, to acquire the skills and language capabilities that meet the requirements of the outsourcing labor market.
