ITIDA and Dell Technologies Call for Egyptian Tech Startups to Help Achieve SDGs

ITIDA's Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) announced an innovation competition for Egyptian startups to develop solutions and applications that further advance the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in collaboration with Dell Technologies.
Realizing the potential in the thriving startup eco-system in Egypt, the competition aims at accelerating startups innovations and supports their proposed solutions using emerging technologies, especially AI, blockchain, cloud computing, data science, and analysis, or what is abbreviated as ABCD Technologies.
The competition's activities include gaining access to Dell's latest technologies and connect with business mentors to provide consultations to entrepreneurs and startups on modern business models and strategies such as enterprise readiness, Infrastructure and applications scalability, and software development methodology.
A series of workshops will be organized to raise awareness of the latest technologies, such as AI, Blockchain, and cloud computing across different governorates including Cairo, Alexandria, and Asyut in the new tech parks.
The winning startups will be invited to attend Dell Technologies World, the company's flagship event that brings together latest emerging trends, technology, in May 2020 in Las Vegas, USA. Additionally, the winners will get a chance to accelerate their business at TIEC Business Accelerator Program.
