IDC’s annual edition of IDC Egypt CIO Summit 2020 is to take place this Thursday (September 24) on a specially designed virtual platform, under the theme of The Race to Reinvent: Connecting Leaders to Empower Digital Transformation'. The summit comes as a partnership between International Data Corporation (IDC) and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Amr Talaat, Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, who will present the day's opening address, followed by Eng. Amr Mahfouz, acting CEO of Egypt's Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), who will deliver the event's keynote.

The IDC Egypt CIO Summit 2020 represents an opportunity to showcase Egypt’s efforts to implement digital transformation. The Summit will bring together global analysts and more than 500 IT influential leaders in the region to discuss the rapidly ever evolving scene of digital transformation and future digital strategies.
The program of the summit will incorporate notable presentations, focus-group discussions and workshops on a number of topics in the fields of technology, including chatbots, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data privacy regulation and big data.
