About Go to GCC
In light of ITIDA ongoing support to develop the local IT industry as well as boosting the exports of local IT firms, ITIDA announces the launch of the Go to GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) program in cooperation with IDC “A leading global provider of market intelligence and advisory services” (www.idc.com)
Objectives
The program aims at supporting Egyptian IT firms in penetrating the GCC market through providing a platform for partnerships with leading system integrators and channel partners in the GCC region. The program provides the Local Companies with various forms of support including, networking events, marketing intelligence and continuous interaction throughout the entire program’s stages.
Selection Criteria
Egyptian IT Firms with different fields of business (ITS, Call Centers, BPO, etc) were invited to join the program where the following selection criteria was used to select the beneficiary companies:
1- Egyptian Companies General Eligibility Criteria:
- Egyptian-owned company with more than (50% Egyptian ownership or under control of Egyptian board of public companies).
- Headquartered in Egypt, at least 80% of company payroll is based in Egypt.
- Have at least 10 registered full time employees.
2- Export Capabilities:
- The company should be exporting.
- Exporting revenues shall exceed 150,000 USD.
