GO to GCC Project Stages
ITIDA’s project team along with IDC consultants will work closely with Local ICT companies throughout the following stages of the program which consists of 8 consecutive stages.
- Stage 1(LC Orientation): ITIDA and IDC will conduct a detailed orientation workshop for all participating local companies in Cairo; this workshop will be led by core members of the IDC and ITIDA project teams.
- Stage 2 (LC Profile Deep Dive): IDC will deep dive into the capabilities of the Egyptian companies generating detailed profiles and further more segmenting Egyptian companies into clusters based on skill sets & resources, competencies and industry sectors.
- Stage 3 (Potential Analysis): IDC will conduct in depth interviews with pre-selected system integrators, Independent software vendors and distributors across all selected project markets (GCC)to gauge their potential for partnerships with Egyptian companies.
- Stage 4 (IDC Internal Analysis & Draft Match Making): IDC analysts will segment the results of stages 2-3 based on the analysis of LC Deep Dive and potential analysis carried out among channel partners in the targeted markets, and then conduct a matchmaking exercise.
- Stage 5 (Workshop for Local Companies): IDC in association with ITIDA will conduct a workshop for Local companies by cluster in order to present the results of the studies conducted in stages 3-4 which includes feedback from potential channel partners and key inhibitors for Egyptian businesses uncovered during the study.
- Stage 6 (Go To Market Events): IDC will conduct 2 specific events as follows:
1- An event in Riyadh (KSA) targeting local Saudi Arabian potential channel partners.
2- An event in Dubai (UAE) targeting GCC potential channel partners.
- Stage 7 (Success Evaluation): IDC will conduct both a short term and medium-term assessment of the Go to Market program effectiveness for Egyptian LC’s.
- Stage 8 (Ongoing LC Support): IDC will provide a dedicated consultant to help and monitor the health of the initiative providing support to local Egyptian companies for a period of 6 months post the ITIDA events.
